Hello guys,
I have 2016 MK7 GTD and I was playing around with OBDeleven apps and blinker winks. (Xenon lights with U shaped DRL)
Unfortunately one of these apps deactivated my LED DRLs on Low beams and fog lights. They work on 0 switch position and also with parking lights only.
Could you please advise how to turn it back on?

^^^^dasgtd: my understanding is that these days (some?) OBD11 Apps populate the history-file with information about the changes that they make. Whilst I don't understand when these records are sent to the history-file (many days after the App is implemented - I think) - it may be worth looking in this Part of OBD11 software So - try this: 1 Start OBD11 software and connect to the dongle 2 On the main screen that has the control modules listed on the LHS of the screen - select Central electrics (it has "09" on the top RHS) 3 Scroll down the options on the left-side of the Central electrics screen - select History 4 You should see a record of the Apps that you implemented - Are there any records listed after the date of the Apps - related to Leuchte channel changes? Don
PS: Of course you could always try to re-run the Apps with the "undo" option

Hello Don, thank you for your answer. So I've checked the history and there are not any records of previous changes made with apps. Only my attempts fixing it with some forum guides. (Unfortunately no luck so I reverted all changes) I've also tried to rerun apps and set lights as they were previously but no luck. If I understand correctly LED "U" elements are in adaptations as - Leuchte4TFL LB4 and Leuchte5 TFL RB32. May I kindly ask you if you can take a look at my adaptation settings and help me turn them on again? I would really like to have them running again with xenons and fogs. (I would also really love to have DRL dimming function on while turn signal is on) Thank you!

^^ dasgt: hmm........ if you are sure that these are the correct Leuchte-sets, try this:
Leuchte4TFL LB4 Lichtfunktion A 4 > Tagfahrlicht Lichtfunktion B 4 > Nebellicht links Dimmwert AB 4 > 127 Lichtansteuerung HD AB 4 > Always Lichtfunktion C 4 > Blinken links aktiv (beide Phasen) Lichtfunktion D 4 > not active Dimmwert CD 4 > 31 Dimming Direction CD 4 > minimize Lichtfunktion E 4 > Standlicht allgemein (Schlusslicht; Positionslicht; Begrenzungslicht) Lichtfunktion F 4 > Parklicht links (beidseitiges Parklicht aktiviert li & re) Dimmwert EF 4 > 127 Dimming Direction EF 4 > maximize Lichtfunktion G 4 > not active Lichtfunktion H 4 > not active Dimmwert GH 4 > 0 Dimming Direction GH 4 > maximize Leuchte5 TFL RB32 Lichtfunktion A 5 > Tagfahrlicht Lichtfunktion B 5 > Nebellicht rechts Dimmwert AB 5 > 127 Lichtansteuerung HD AB 5 > Always Lichtfunktion C 5 > Blinken rechts aktiv (beide Phasen) Lichtfunktion D 5 > not active Dimmwert CD 5 > 31 Dimming Direction CD 5 > minimize Lichtfunktion E 5 > Standlicht allgemein (Schlusslicht; Positionslicht; Begrenzungslicht) Lichtfunktion F 5 > Parklicht rechts Dimmwert EF 5 > 127 Dimming Direction EF 5 > maximize Lichtfunktion G 5 > not active Lichtfunktion H 5 > not active Dimmwert GH 5 > 0 Dimming Direction GH 5 > maximize
I've set the DRL wink function @ 31% dimming - but you can choose whatever value you want (by setting Dimmwert CD)

I've tried your adaptations but unfortunately result is the same as before. DRLs are not going on with xenons and fogs.

I've tried your adaptations but unfortunately result is the same as before. DRLs are not going on with xenons and fogs. Which means that the Leuchte-sets that you gave me are likely incorrect
The way to tell is to turn-off one of the Leuchte-sets and see which light does not work on the car. For example, change Dimmwert AB setting to zero on Leuchte4TFL LB4 and the DRL function with switch on 0 position on one of the lights on the left side of the car should not work. Whichever lamp doesn't illuminate is the Leuchte-set for "4TFL"
Post up a copy of Leuchte3SL VRB21 (I'm guessing this is the Leuchte-set for the angel-eyes on your car)

I've changed Dimmwert AB on LB4 to zero and no change so it looks like I have wrong Leuchte set. Here are adaptation settings for Leuchte3SL VRB21 -

OK - that Leuchte-set looks more promising! Try testing if this is the correct Leuchte-set by again changing the Dimmwert AB channel on Leuchte3SL VRB21 to zero temporarily. Does the right-side angel eyes turn-off with the light switch position on 0?
If you confirm that the right-side Angel-eye is indeed Leuchte3SL VRB21, try this:
Leuchte2SL VLB10 Lichtfunktion A 2 > Tagfahrlicht Lichtfunktion B 2 > Nebellicht links Dimmwert AB 2 > 100 Lichtansteuerung HD AB 2 > Always Lichtfunktion C 2 > Blinken links aktiv (beide Phasen) Lichtfunktion D 2 > not active Dimmwert CD 2 > 0 Dimming Direction CD 2 > minimize Lichtfunktion E 2 > Standlicht allgemein (Schlusslicht; Positionslicht; Begrenzungslicht) Lichtfunktion F 2 > Parklicht links (beidseitiges Parklicht aktiviert li & re) Dimmwert EF 2 > 100 Dimming Direction EF 2 > maximize Lichtfunktion G 2 > not active Lichtfunktion H 2 > not active Dimmwert GH 2 > 0 Dimming Direction GH 2 > maximize Leuchte3SL VRB21 Lichtfunktion A 3 > Tagfahrlicht Lichtfunktion B 3 > Nebellicht rechts Dimmwert AB 3 > 127 Lichtansteuerung HD AB 3 > Always Lichtfunktion C 3 > Blinken rechts aktiv (beide Phasen) Lichtfunktion D 3 > not active Dimmwert CD 3 > 0 Dimming Direction CD 3 > minimize Lichtfunktion E 3 > Standlicht allgemein (Schlusslicht; Positionslicht; Begrenzungslicht) Lichtfunktion F 3 > Parklicht rechts Dimmwert EF 3 > 127 Dimming Direction EF 3 > maximize Lichtfunktion G 3 > not active Lichtfunktion H 3 > not active Dimmwert GH 3 > 0 Dimming Direction GH 3 > maximize

Hey Don,
Isn’t ‘standlicht algemein’ (or some sort) missing @ lichtfunktion b? I think that will solve the problem.

Don, Dimwert AB on zero turned off right "U" led element like you said! We are getting close

This is really weird. Now the left one works with fogs and fogs+xenons only. (Not with just xenons) The right one works just as DRL. Not woth fogs or xenons.

oops - I wrote down the wrong Dimmwert values for the right Leuchte-set. I wrote "127" instead of "100"
Change Dimmwert AB 3 > 100 and Dimmwert EF 3 > 100

Changed both of them to 100 and result is the same.Right DRL doesn't work with fogs and xenons. P.S. Left one still doesn't work either with xenons. Only as DRL or fog+parking light.

Can you post some pictures of your lights? Maybe when we see what is going on, we can puzzle it together?

Also my question: do you have coded scandinavian lights?
If I have time tonight I will check on my own coding to compere them to yours.

ViĆ - LB4 and RB32 are showed here I've had to use these settings as adaptations from dv52 for LB4 and RB32 were giving me DRL fault codes. For Leuchte2SL VLB10 , Leuchte3SL VRB21 I'm currently using exact adaptations as he posted. Valk - Yes I have scandinavian lights coded.

wgolfmk7 - You are the man! I've restored RB32 and LB4 to default state and everything works without any issues. Thank you so much everybody!

Hi, I have a Seat Leon 5F, I have small triangle DRL's on the upper corners. Is it possible to make them stay on while on Low Beams? If anybody could help I would appreciate it.
