Hello all,
Coming to the group for assistance. I have a 2019 mk7 vw jetta GLI DSG full digital display.
Yesterday, i tried to activate road sign recognition after finding it under Control Unit --> Dashboard --> Adaptations. I did not/have never done any long coding.
So, it doesn't work - which is fine - but now, every time I start the car, it gives the error 'Dynamic Road Sign Display' in the middle of the dashboard screen. I've tried to clear any faults with the OBD Eleven and, weirdly, can't find this same option in the Adaptations under Dashboard to turn it 'off'/reverse it. Why would it have disappeared?!
Can anyone tell me how to either reverse it/turn it off, where to find this so i can do that or how to clear this error permanently?
Thanks so much!

theybit:hi. I note Tristan's assertion that he "did not/has never done any long coding" - but I suspect that the reason why he "can't find this same option in the Adaptations under Dashboard to turn it 'off'/reverse it" is because there isn't such an adaptation channel in the hex17 module (Dashboard module). The hex17 module software switch for road sign recognition is in Byte 5, Bit 2 - or if you are accessing the text part of long code, its the "road sign detection" option as shown below: Don
