Hello, (Golf 2015 TSI) I'm new to all this. So I've been very lucky and been was recently gifted with a very large pothole which has thrown off my ACC. I was looking around and most VW garages are asking £200! For a quick recalibration (Wheels I realigned straight away). No thanks. So I'm taking matter into my own hands. As far as I know the only problem with the sensor is the fact it is misaligned by 2.167° vertically. The screw/socket/wrench/thingy is a 3.5mm hex thing, fairy easy to order off Amazon ect. My question is... If I correctly realign the sensor, then use the obd "Basic setting > Reset misalignment angle" (I will need to by the PRO version) will it then work? Has anyone done this before? Because it quite literally will save me £170 so it's a risk I'm willing to take. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers in advance

Cheers in advance usually dealers take that much money because they realign the wheels and i think calibrate the front camera too. The way dealers calibrate the radar is with a laser that lets them know when the radar is pointing to the correct direction, so im pretty you can just adjust the screw a tiny bit at a time and check the offset angle again until its perfect. But as the guy above me said, it might recalibrate itself while driving.
