Just installed a euro switch on my 17 Alltrack. Works great, but when I use the auto function I get a lighting fault message. Do I need to code something to avoid the fault? Auto works, but throws a fault.

yes you do need to "code something"
Depending on which rotary light switch you installed (fog light capabilities), ensure that the setting for the "LDS" entries for long coding in the hex09 module are as displayed below (particularly LDS_mit_AFS). How did you deal with the Light sensor part of the retrofit?

Please ignore the highlighted box (I made the pic for another purpose) and my apology for using the older screen version of OBD11 software

I didn't install the light sensor, which seems to explain why I get the fault when trying to use the auto setting. I was under the impression that auto was to turn on the lights at start up. Found out this is not the case as this function is based on light/dark read by the sensor.
