So I did the quick app with the DRL off thinking it would turn my haolgen daytime running lights off completely and I would have the option off turning them back on when I wanted in the menu screen. But they turn on when my low beams are on and I don't want the daytime running lights on at night only during the daytime because at night people think my high beams are on. btw I have the SE tdi wagon headlights not the HELIX HID ones. I basically want them to be only used as high beams but it would be nice to use them as daytime running lights as well just not be on when my low beams are on.
If anyone could please help me I would appreciate it.
Or if someone can just tell me how to shut off the high beam daytime running lights off but only work as high beams that would be awesome.

It varies from country to country and also with different modes, but the function that you are referring-to as nigh-time DRLs is actually the Parking light function (and yes, they do normally switch-on with low beams). But usually when halogen Parking Lights are factory programmed into the light, the illumination level is dimmed to 31% so as not to blind on-coming vehicles at night. The 2 x Leuchte-sets for these lamps are: - Leuchte4TFL LB4 (left-side)
- Leuchte5 TFL RB32 (right-side)
And the Leuchte-command for the Parking light is Standlicht allgemein (Schlusslicht; Positionslicht; Begrenzungslicht)
Now, as I have said stuff varies- but usually the Leuchte-command above is applied to Lichtfunktion E in each of the 2 x Leuchte-sets.
So my suggestion is that you look at how the 2 x Leuchte-sets above are programmed on your car- look specifically @ Lichtfunktion E and if the setting is the Parking light command, change it to not active (on both sides)
When you have done this, come back and post-up the complete listing (being 19 x adaptation channels and their settings) for one of the Leuchte-sets above on your car. We can then talk about how to make the lamps turn-on with high-beams.
Also, what country are you from?
Don

Ok awesome that’s exactly what I wanted! I’m coming from US. Now to keep the daytime running lights on during the day? I did the tweak for the daytime running lights to be off but when I hit the toggle on dash it doesn’t come on.
