Sorry if this has been covered but I've searched over a half hour and didn't find anything.
Is there a tutorial on how to copy/paste code from one module to another? I found the copy/backup function on the odb app, but how do you paste that copy into a new module?
Specifically, I have a 2015 golf that needs new door control modules (5 series hardware vs. 3 series hardware) in order for my aftermarket folding mirrors to work. I need to replace the hardware, then copy the software from the old module into the new one.
There a tutorial or instructions somewhere for this?
Thanks!

You don't have to paste it because modules could be different and may not work, you have to go to each old module take note what you have checked in every bytes and bits and then install the new one and check the same description bytes and bits.

In this case I need the exact code of the old module copied over to the new. I know that sounde weird, but the modules are almost identical and all the details have been worked out over on vwvortex.
Copying all that by hand seems tedious and error-prone. Isn't thre a feature where you can just copy over a whole code set at once?

If your new module has the same software number you can do copy paste.
