Really need some clarification if someone can please chime in. I've read so many mixed answers but nothing I can find that gives me a definite solid answer. I want to find out if the VIM will work on 2018 & up for the Audi S3 8V. My version shows I have 1110 but the APP states does it does not work on 2018 models that has an MIB unit version above 1000. If this is true then so be it but I've read others claims it can work. If it does work, can anyone show us how it's done? If not, then I can move on to other things OBDELEVEN can do. Thanks a bunch!!

Not my car but last I heard Audi put in a deliberate fix to stop VIM and the app is telling you it wont work.
I have seen hardware devices you can buy in the states (there is a thread on here somewhere with the details) that says it works but I have not seen any coding solution.
Not saying there is not one I just not seen it and as the App says what it does I am guessing neither have OBD11 Dev team (as they would make money out of it.
Sorry thats not a clear yes/no just what i have seen.
