Hello everyone, i'm new there, 6 month's ago i just got my passat b8 2.0 tdi from 2016, i've done lot of retrofits with obd11 and now i got a issue with the standard speakers, i've seen that my tracks sounds cheap and bad at maxium volume, not all tracks but most of them, is there any soultion trought obd11 to increase the sound or modify the equalizer? i mean the quality at medium volume is great but when i go to maxium volume it sounds the same like at medium, then on other tracks i see lot of difference from medium to maxium, can anyone help? or i should retrofit fender or dynaudio amp and speakers?

That's because one or more of your speakers are probably ruined. Got a MY15 passat myself and pretty soon noticed that there was no bass at all on right front speaker. Teared the door apart to find a speaker with the cone totally stuck, so naturally no bass. Also found out that rear left speaker was ruined in a similiar way.
I also was shocked about the general poor quality of the default speakers, it's as cheap as possible. When they work, the massive doors make them sound allright but that's all.
The default speakers don't seem to be able to handle the moist generating inside the door (condensation etc.. everything that slips in from the handles, mirrors, window etc..). I bought these for front: Yep, 8 inches and they fit in there no problem. And these for rear: And some fitting rings for passat B8. The rear ones needed some tweaking though, I cut half of the rings away and then they fit in nicely. I paid 230€ for all of these and the speaker and sound quality rocketed.
