Export all Live Data:
I would like to export and store once all (!) Live Data from a control unit as a text document – just the way as is possible with errors or adjustments. How does this work? To make it via "charts" is no alternative, because it is far too complicated and only very few values can be read out with a single chart… Any idea? Thank you in advance…

jochen71 do you mean the phisical live data elements like this forum.obdeleven.com/thread/3262/control-unit-setup (just scroll down to the first live data section for an idea. If so that is very easy. If you mean you want to run all the live data elements in one go then I dont think the interface could handle that much data.

The best solution would be all the live data elements in one go (or in several goes…:-)) and of course it would be sufficient for me if I would receive the live data once - not over a longer period several times a second - just a single snapshot, so to speak! But if I´m honest, I can´t even manage to export the “physical live data” as you described… Would be great if you could help me…
Thank you soooo much!

ok thats easy. If you open up any section you want to copy (in this case live data) Then take a screen shot using android phone / tablet and then an option bar appears at the bottom Select Scroll Capture, What this does is allows you to add to the picture, keep pressing Scroll Capture till you are at the end of the list You now have a picture of all the Live Data eleements, Read the following post forum.obdeleven.com/post/14515 and you can convert the picture into Text. Let me know if you need any more info.

Thank you very much! Good to know, that there are people like you who help people like me!! Though I "expected" a possibility within OBD11, your solution of course works, too! Scroll Capture combined with text-conversion is a great alternative! Well done! It works really good...
One more question: Does Scroll Capture work with your smartphone in combination with "Long Coding UDS" (as it does in combination with "live data")? With my Samsung Galaxy S8 Scroll Capture is definitely not possible with "Long Coding UDS"! Here I have to make a single Screenshot of each page.
Have a nice day!

You are most welcome that's the point of these forums for people to help each other out.
Re long coding I am afraid you have to do Byte by Byte. The good news though is you do not have to be connected to the car to do long coding screen shots.
Select the car in your garage (in your living room connected to internet) Select Control Units Select the Control unit you are working on the select Long Coding and you will see all the stuff you need.
the other option is see if you can find is anybody else has already done this like I have and I know of at least one other.

No, I haven´t got anybody with the same car… :-) Yes, Long Coding can be read out "offline". I had already seen that. Ok, as I feared: You have to "export" it byte by byte. Thanks a lot for trying out. Now all questions are answered…
