It happens that in all cars the velocity readout is not real. As a matter of fact, it is 4 to 5% above reality.
I would like to be able to adjust the offset, so the velocity in my car could be real. At the present time it is 4%.
Where to change the mentioned offset?

The changes would have to be done in Instrument cluster #17. This is a coding option called "Distance impulse number".
Don't waste time changing that value. That 4% OVER your actual limit is intentional for legal reasons so you don't exceed the speed limit when you visually look at the speedometer.

Matthew whilst I fully agree its not worth changing (stops me getting speeding fines) I think the Distance impulse number was on the Golf Mk5 and 6 did they remove this on the MQB Series (eg MK7)

I just check OBDeleven since it isn't documented in VCDS' Wiki page wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Golf_VII_(5G/AU)_Instrument_ClusterThe feature is called "Wheel circ" which I understand is wheel circumference. The default value for the customers car is "version 3". There is a range of "Version 1 to Version 8" This to me, is the same thing as the older version found in the MK5 and 6 From what I recall from the MK5 & MK6, the distance impulse number was really the tire diameter measured in millimeters (I haven't measured it for myself to be sure).
