Hi, I’ve got Leon 5f 2015 with sport suspension fitted. Wheel aligment been done, so I had fantastic plan to do basic settings of steering wheel angle sensor. (Which should be done after all suspension works and wheel aligment). I did reset to factory settings, and boom. I have now esc system fault, steering system fault, tyres pressure monitoring system fault, headlight range system fault and s&s system fault. Steering wheel works weird, no esc at all and I can tell that hill start support no working too. Stg 44 have fault about steering angle sensor no basic settings. I trying to do basic settings but still no working. Here is the fault which I can’t erase What I do is, basic setting->steering angle sensor During this process I turning steering wheel all way round to the left, then to the right and then stop. Even that there is still no basic settings, this is what I can see at live data Is this everything I can do? Or there is other procedure to do it? Anybody knows how to calibrate steering angle sensor?

Got this code after battery went dead. It's on a MK7 GTI but it should be similar, you need to select steering angle initialization, then start the process with the green button. watch out the steering will turn by itself a few times, don't put your hands on it! I needed to do it a couple of times but it finally worked. When done on the live data page it'll show status "calibrated".

Hello, I've been having problems with my steering getting really tight, but never had the warning light come on?, it started over a year 1/2 ago, had VW replace the the rack, module and harness. Everything was great for a year and then just a couple of months ago the problem came back, but this time i'm getting the steering, ABS, tire pressure and ESP lights coming on all the time along with the steering getting very tight again. I want to try to re-calibrate the steering angle sensor and see if this helps. So my question is, do you have to have your car running when performing this calibration?
thanks

^^^^^^no - have the ignition switched-on, but the engine not running (it's called a "Terminal 15" Voltage)
