Hello,
I moved my thread to general questions. There are not much activity in the Seat Altea threads. I think the G450 adaptation is a common question for everyone with a BMM engine (Octavia Scout, Golf MK5, Passat CC etc.) There are lots of discussions in other forums about this sensor that fails. Many people would appreciate if developer (or anyone) could give a step by step instruction how to do. The Ross instrument is a little different to the Odb11. Its not just to copy there instructions.
Found some instructions that seems to be for the BMM engine. Ignition switch on, Engine off, Coding 2, 30605. OBD11 says "Accepted" in green color. I switch off the ignition for a minut. When I look at ch.67 in live data the offset is same as before, 70. Tried several times. Tried to turn on ignition 5 seconds, off for 40 seconds five times as described. It does not help. Does anybody know what is wrong? Is it the wrong way to perform the adaptation? I thought it should work because i got the message "Accepted". Is it a bugg in the odb11 software?
Best Regards Ulv,
