I have just purchased this device and I need help with module 09 in my vw tiguan II of MY2017.
It will not let me make any changes.
I deleted the cache, reinstalled the application and even updated it, and I still can not make changes.
The error that gives me is:
(35) Author error for access, wrong user code. I have introduced 31347 code and other codes that i saw in several forums but the same error apears
Can anybody help me? I am very disappointed.
Thank you.

Pre 2016 cars had both Adaptation and long coding so there were two places you could make changes. Post 2016 on control unit 09 only VW removed the long coding and put all those switches into adaptation, its an issue for people who are looking at older coding solutions because there long coding string is 0000000000000. I am not sure what to say other than raise this directly with support via the app help function. If the tool is allowing you to make changes to other modules and its specifically only Control Unit 09 then it sounds like Support should be able to help. Sorry I can offer more but I dont have this or have access to this car.
The only other item I just thought off is to check what other control units you have just to make sure they have not moved 09 to something else - I would have expected to have heard if that were the case however.

No long Coding and Adaptation are separate functions, you need to raise the query directly with support telling them that only Adaptation dont work.
