Hi all,
I have a seat ibiza (2006, 1.4TDI) with a dead ABS modulator. Electronic part is OK. I plan to replace it with a brand new one.
I need a tool to perform the following: 1. Download the code from my old ABS unit 2. Upload this code to my brand new unit 3. Once installed, activate the pump, to allow a good purge of the system
Is the OBD11 abel to do that ?
Thanks a lot ! Benjamin

What do you mean with code? With OBDeleven you can lookup the coding of your old unit and code your new unit the same.

I don't know if you can activate the pump via an output test. Maybe cupra280 knows more.

Sorry not my model.
If you look under basic settings it will show you what you can run, on my 2014 leon I have
ASR and ESP function deactivation Basic setting for brake pressure sensor Basic setting for inlet/cut-out valves Basic setting of ESP sensor unit Bleed brakes Clutch pedal threshold (search for kiss point) Deactivate dynamometer mode Electro-mechanical parking brake function test End lining change mode Engage Haldex clutch Erase counter for start and stop processes Fill/bleed brake system Hydraulic connection replacement check Open Haldex clutch Reset tire pressure monitoring display warnings Reset to factory setting Reset to factory setting of tire pressure monitory display Resetting of all adaptation values Roller test bench mode Shut off longitudinal acceleration monitoring Start lining change mode Test of emergency brake warning display
but this is not going to be the same as your car I am afraid.
