Hello and thank you ahead of time to anyone who can help me with my question.
I Purchased a Amazon fire HD 8 tablet for OBD Eleven and some light remote access troubleshooting for work. But, it runs a little slow. So I’m planning on purchasing either an Amazon fire HD 10 or something with a little more processing power.
My question/concern is if I will have any issues using or activating OBD Eleven Pro on the new tablet.
I am of course planning on purchasing a compatible android tablet just wondering if I need to contact anyone about license transfers to the new device or not.
I hope I put this in the right section my apologies if not. thank you again

glidubber86 you have put this in a good place.
Bottom line your licence is your account, you can have OBD11 on multiple devices and use them all at the same time.
I personally have 4 android devices and they all have obd11 on them.
When you get your new device just download OBD11 and log in using your account details. When you open OBD11 you will see all the stuff you have on the other tablet.
Hope this helps.

Awesome buddy! thank you so much for your help! 4 android devices? You might be as bad as me with my Apple products LOL
Any tips on which tablet might run best/the smoothest/overall best functionality? Thanks!

No just most of the stuff I need is supported via Android, Laptop is Apple, Server is Linux (horses for courses)
Sorry cant recommend a tablet, what I use is Samsung simply because they have served me well so far. But lots of people use different ones and dont have problems.
Most issues are bluetooth and wifi related.

Any tips on which tablet might run best/the smoothest/overall best functionality? Thanks! I agree with Cupra 280. Personally, I use only Samsung Flagship devices such as my (old) Note 5, (now) Note8 and Note Pro (with S-Pen) for the purpose of having a buttery smooth Android experience where the hardware specs overkill. Personally, I wouldn't use an Amazon device for things like logging live data since I don't know how fast the Kindle's Bluetooth can collect the data for things like dyno runs. Is your previous Amazon device rooted in some way to get the non-Amazon OBDeleven installed (or does Amazon allow third party apps to be installed now)?

Actually got it to work with Google play store as well has the normal OBD 11 program or app. It was using an Amazon fire HD 8. Had to side load google play store. It was just somewhat laggy. For sure I’ll definetly look into Samsung tablets. Thanks guys!
