Is it possible for the hardware to go in to a standby or low power mode when the ignition is turned off? I think many of the cheap generic obdii readers can do this. It would allow for the device to be left connected all the time without draining the cars battery.
Thanks.

Our device is using about 30-40mA in standby mode, so if you are using your car daily it is save to leave device connected. One very important thing if you are leaving device connected you need to disconnect (software) from vehicle after you finish to work, to do that you need to go to My car menu and press disconnect button in bottom right corner.
