resko by chiptuned I presume you mean your car is mapped to give you better power / performance.
That coding is not available to OBD11 and according to my cars manual (check yours and see what it says)
"All settings can be reset: driver assistance, parking and manoeuvring, lights, rear view mirrors and windscreen wipers, opening and closing, multi-function display"
As far as I am aware it just resets the settings for the above functions (some cars you have to do this to get the comfort blink to work as well)
Again I have never heard of anybody loosing a map (other than on very old cars when you removed the battery).
As I said above I did it and suddenly the alarm started working, I had forgotten I had even made the change.
All changes are made at your own risk so if you are not comfortable then do a search on the web and see what you can find.

Well it does say in the app you must have a factory alarm fitted for it to work do you have one of those.
Have you run a scan to see if you have any errors.
Does your car have the sound actuator fitted as a matter of interest (as its a physical device).

Hello cupra,
In the audi a1 "coding and adaptations" forum it says:
Lock Acknowlegde with Horn Horn When Locked Select Control unit 09 (Central Electrics) Control unit Long Coding Byte 5 Bit 1 Activate
Horn When UnLocked Select Control unit 09 (Central Electrics) Control unit Long Coding Byte 5 Bit 4 Activate
So this is without the alarm but with the horn of the car that you get a confirmation when lock/unlocking, but these bits are already active so something is not right i guess? The horn has nothing to do with if you have a alarm or not i think?
Thanks.

I don’t know if this is news anymore, but you can also copy and paste previous coding strings from history. By this you can go back until you find the working setup and try again. Just fixed my A1’s headlight range and wiper faults by that.

Hi, I have a 2011 1.4 Audi A1, I was playing around with the obdeleven and I am not sure what I have done. I have so many code lists in so many different places.
My wipers do not work anymore, fault is "no signal to wiper motor drivers side" and also now the headlights don't work on auto setting the fault says "headlight range control defective"
Please can someone help me ASAP, I'm in desperate need of a fix. Thank you

I got a 2012 A1 for my daughter and was using OBD11 to set the DRLs to always on. I then got a message on the dash " Headlight Range Control Defective." I had previously had this message on my A6, so I tried the same fix using OBD11, as follows: Headlight Regulation, Basic Settings, Basic Headlamp Setting, Start, (then wait 5 seconds) Stop. Acknowledge Basic Setting, Start, (then wait 5 seconds), Stop. Clear Error Codes and all should be good. While it worked perfectly on the A6, it does not do so on the A1. When I select Acknowledge Basic Setting, the screen shows Basic Settings Staus as "Not Active". The red error message on the bottom of the screen says "Procedure cannot be performed, incorrect sequence" The Auto function for the headlights is also now not working Any advice n a fix would be greatly appreciated.
