Hello! Does anyone know if the panoramic sunroof can be coded to keep the sunshade close when the sunroof is open? Help in the city, I say, when the sun hits your head, at low speeds. At higher speeds I understood that it must be completely run considering the vortex produced by the air. Default, it pulls as the sunroof opens. At passat b7 I know it works like this. It can be coded at 8, Thank you very much

I would like to change something in top led. I have a Passat from 2016 and I'm happy from lights on the forest or "country roads" but on highway DLA isn't enough. I have just automatic turning high beam but without adaptive when I will have someone on my front isn't the same like a "country roads". I'll would like to have the same light at highway like from pics. Is this a possible?
As far I know, that is the Dynamic Light Assist. Requirements are the High LED's (the ones with long DRL and smaller DRL in the projector) that swivel in corners and the Multifunction camera on windshield.
Hello guys, I am thinking to buy Passat 2019- with analog cockpit and later change it for Virtual cockpit, what setting codding needs to be done to match the same setting after the installation.

Hi, this was one of the things i wondered about when i bought my b8 alltrack, and i saw your post a cpl of days ago and that made me spend som time looking trough adaptations/long coding for Sunroof module, turns out theres an option called "Necessary_linkage_sunroof_blind" in long coding that needs to be set to not active and youre good to go. Hope this helps you

Hello, I have problem with activating Lock/Unlock Acoustic Confirmation on my Passat B8.5. I done the OneClick app, but it didn't worked, then I done the adaption proces, but it neither worked. There is a Bit to activate to show on MIB, but i activate it and deactivate it 10 times and it didn't worked... Can someone explain me how and which adaption/coding i have to do to show the option in Vehicle menu on MIB? I had the same problem on my previous A4 B9 2018... Thanks!
So the fog lights will turn on along with high or low headlights, even in automatic the selector switch. And fog switch on the panel will only act in selected half light. This is the option for: Fog lights operated with low or high beams.

I have the same problem on my 2018, passat b8.
And another question: Is there any possibility to have the "scandinavian drl" activated only for front (to have active the drl's and the position/parking lights)? If it is fully activated, on the rear the pace lights (urban joke) can't work. Or if it is not possible, i can deactivate scandinavian, but how can i activate the front positions, together with the drl's?
I'm not sure about the specifics of a B8 Passat - but given that this car shares a similar DNA as other MQB platform cars, the instructions for the lock/unlock Accoustic confirmation tweak should be largely the same.
Maybe try this (copied from my response to the same question on the Golf mk7 thread):
Lock/Unlock Acknowledgement - Instructions:
There are 2 x separate procedures for this tweak: OBD11 procedure which involves selecting/changing 6 x adaptation channels in the hex09 module, and the separate In-car procedure
OBD11 Procedure:
Select Central Electrics module @ address Hex09
Select Security access and enter the magic number 31347
Select Adaptations and search for Acknowledgement signals - select this option
Select active for Akustische Rueckmeldung entriegeln if you want an acoustic signal when car is unlocked (2 x beeps). Else leave as not active
Select active for Akustische Rueckmeldung verriegeln if you want acoustic signal when car is locked (1 x beep). Else leave as not active
Select active for Akustische Rueckmeldung global
Select kurtz for Dauer der Akustischen Rueckmeldung vom Einfachhorn for a short sound, or select normal (not much difference IMO between these two settings)
Select active for Menuesteuerung akustische Rueckmeldung. This places an ON/OFF switch for the acoustic signal function in the car menu - see "In-car Procedure")
If the car is fitted with an anti-theft alarm siren, select not active for Akustische Rueckmeldung Signalhorn. Else, set to active for the acoustic signal to use the car horn
Shut-down OBD11 software and remove dongle -cycle ignition key and go to "In-car Procedure".
Note: "Select active/not active/kurtz/normal" above means -select the option and then confirm the change by clicking the green, circled-tick on the bottom of the OBD11 screen
In-car Procedure:
Press the CAR button on the escutcheon panel on the RHS of the infotainment unit
Select SETUP ( symbol) on the bottom RHS of the screen
Select Opening closing panel
Place a tick in Acoustic confirmation box - the acoustic feedback facility can be turned ON/OFF via this switch

If it is fully activated, on the rear the pace lights (urban joke) can't work. Or if it is not possible, i can deactivate scandinavian, but how can i activate the front positions, together with the drl's?
So - the adaptation channel in the central electrics module that enables/disables "Scandinavian DRLs" is:

Related to scandinavian, i can disable it easily with the obdeleven one-click application. The thing is that on front i want scandinavian (drl + positions on), but on the back i don't want it (so that i can activate pace/urban joke).
The easiest way would be to deactivate scandinavian and find a way to set the positions to on (drl are active anyway). Is there any way to code the positions to turn on together with the drl (to have drl on the both the drl and positions)? For example, I know that there is one application that sets the drl's to work with drl+fog lights. Instead of fogs on with drl, i want the positions to be on with drl.
PS. When i say positions, i mean the small w5w bulbs on top of the halogen headlight (above the main/high beam, next to the blinker).

oly: making the position lights operate as DRLs isn't difficult - but my problem is that I don't know which Leuchte-set is allocated to the position lights on a Passat B8. Happy to suggest coding changes if you know the answer!!

I tried to activate acoustic lock confirmation (by horn). I used the one click app and it didn't work, so ia thought that maybe i should first try to activate the horn anti theft alarm (and only then to activate the acoustic confirmation). The idea is that now i have an U101400 error (incorrect coding of command unit). I tried to revert the one-click app changes, but couldn-t do it (i thought that putting the anti theft to off will solve the problem. After checking the changes history, i realised one difference - in the beginning, the anti theft was "null", but now i can't choose null (i only have on or off). I guess that this is where the error comes from.
I have the manual coding for the anti theft, so i am thinking to enter via coding and deactivate those things (in the coding, to make it work, it says to check/activate this or that, but i am thinking to deactivate the ones circled in red). Maybe by accessing via coding, I can set that option back to null instead of off. The last part of the coding can be left as it is, because it is related to the acoustic lock confirmation (that i want).
Is there any other easier way? Or do you have any advice how to solve this error problem (i can't even delete it)?

As I have already said -if you have used a One-Click-App, there will be NO records in History. I NEVER use OCAs for this reason!! So- you can't be sure what changes the OCAs made to your car!!
If you manually coded the changes, then the records in History will show the "old" and "new" values. The instructions that you posted apply to an older version central electrics module - your module doesn't have an active long-code string.
My hunch (guess really) is that the equivalent to Byte12, Bit 0 in your instructions on your module is the adaptation channel Anti-theft device-Anti-theft alarm system. Maybe the OCA set this channel to active?
Reset function is used to reset control unit, it will send reset command after you press OK button.
Ignition off/on reset is same as switch ignition off remove the key and switch it on. Hard reset is same as disconnect power from control unit. Soft reset is same as switch ignition off and wait until car goes to sleep.
Not all units support all options of reset!
This function is same as this:
Sometimes it must be used on new UDS based control units after performing adaptations or codings. I.e. Golf MK7 BCM unit.

Thank you for your answers. I have a full backup since 22.08.2023 (the day when i firste tested the ebdeleven on my car, before making any changes). I have checked the anti-theft adaptation in the backup and compared it with what my obd11 is showing now. There is no difference.
I have a friend with vcds, so i will try to change that byte 12, bit 0, to see what it does.
I am hoping to find an easier solution, but as a last resort i will use a text comparison software (like compareit, but if you know any other good one, please share), and compare the backup from 22.08.2023, with one that I will make now. Find the differences and identifiy which of them is the most likely to give me this error.

whataboutthis: mrfruth0326 Dongle can stay in the OBD2 Port but make sure you close the app down when no using othewise some have issues with battery drain. Personally i have had mine in for years with no issues.
